What if I run out of battery in the middle of the sea?

With 80 nautic miles of range, you'd have to sail 10 hours straight. Nobody does that. Plus: 2 independent motors, 2 independent batteries, solar panels constantly generating. You're more likely to run out of fuel in a traditional boat.

Honest question, honest answer: 92% of the time you sail at less than 12 knots. Would you rather go 30 knots for 22 minutes or sail 90 minutes at 18 knots? Semi-planing physics gives us double the range. It's a smart decision, not a limitation.
